Choose a route as it stands or let us tailor it to your dates, pace and budget. Follow the herds on a Great Migration safari, slow down on a romantic honeymoon safari, share the Big Five with children on a family safari, or pair the Serengeti with climbing Kilimanjaro. Not sure how long to go? Read how many days you need for a Tanzania safari. Each itinerary shows the day-by-day plan, the lodges we use and a starting price, and we reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.

    Planning your safari

The Northern Circuit (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) over 6–8 days delivers the classic Big Five experience, the Great Migration, and easy logistics from Kilimanjaro Airport.
6–8 days is the sweet spot for the Northern Circuit. Add 3–4 nights in Zanzibar for a beach extension, or extend to 10–12 days to include a fly-in to Ruaha or Nyerere.
For July–October and Christmas/New Year we recommend booking 8–12 months ahead. Green season (March–May) can be booked 3–4 months out.
Yes. Most camps welcome children from age 6, and family-friendly lodges accept younger kids with private vehicles. We tailor pace, activities and lodges to your family.

Technically yes, but we strongly recommend against it. Roads are unmarked, wildlife is unpredictable, and park regulations are strict. A trained driver-guide multiplies your sightings tenfold.
Yes. Many of our guests travel solo. Private guides mean you're never alone, and our small-group departures let you meet like-minded travelers.
Absolutely. Most guests add 6–8 days on safari after a Kili summit, or start with a safari to acclimatise to the bush before the mountain. We handle all logistics as one seamless Tanzania trip.
