5 Days Classic Kenya Safari: Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha

After being picked up in Nairobi, begin your journey to the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, enjoying spectacular views of the Kenyan countryside along the way. Upon arrival in the Maasai Mara, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Depending on your arrival time and the day's arrangements, you may have the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation as you prepare for your safari adventure.

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying the changing landscapes of Kenya's countryside along the way. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park's diverse habitats, including open grasslands, acacia woodlands and the scenic lakeshore. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes and rich birdlife. Keep your camera ready for possible sightings of buffaloes, zebras, baboons and other wildlife. After your safari experience, proceed to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner in the peaceful surroundings of the Lake Nakuru area.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning wildlife excursion in the Lake Naivasha area. Depending on your confirmed arrangements, this may include a guided game drive or a visit to a nearby wildlife sanctuary, where you may encounter giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other animals. Lake Naivasha is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, with a wide variety of species found around its shores. After your morning activity, enjoy lunch before beginning your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, according to your onward travel arrangements.
