East Africa offers rewarding wildlife experiences throughout the year. The best season depends on your chosen countries, landscapes and wildlife interests, and our team will recommend the strongest travel window for this particular journey.
Pack lightweight, neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, beige, olive), a warm layer for early mornings and evenings, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars and a camera. Soft-sided duffel bags are recommended, especially if your itinerary includes light aircraft flights.
Entry and health requirements vary by destination and nationality. We recommend checking the latest official guidance before travel and consulting your doctor about recommended vaccinations, yellow fever certification and malaria precautions.
Yes. We regularly host families and tailor the pace, accommodation and activities to suit children of different ages. Private vehicles mean your schedule is flexible, and many of the camps we use offer family tents and child-friendly activities.
We use custom 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for game viewing, large windows, a fridge for cold drinks, charging sockets and radio communication. Every guest is guaranteed a window seat, and private safaris mean the vehicle is exclusively yours.
Our prices typically include private transport with a professional guide, accommodation as listed, meals on safari, park and conservation fees, scheduled activities, drinking water and airport transfers. International flights, visas, travel insurance, tips and personal expenses are excluded unless stated otherwise.
Tipping is at your discretion, but as a guideline we suggest USD 15–25 per guest per day for your safari guide and USD 5–10 per guest per day for camp staff, usually given at the end of your stay.
Absolutely. Every safari we run is private and tailor-made. We can adjust the number of days, upgrade or change accommodation, add a beach extension in Zanzibar, or combine parks to match your travel dates, budget and interests — just ask our team.
