4 Days Mount Meru Climbing commencing at the enchanting Momella Gate nestled at 1,500 meters. Day one unfolds with a captivating journey through verdant forests, introducing trekkers to the rich biodiversity of the region before reaching the welcoming haven of Miriakamba Hut. The adventure continues on day two, guiding participants through a mesmerizing transition from the forest to the expansive Saddle, culminating at Saddle Hut (3,570 meters) with panoramic views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. The pinnacle awaits on day three as early risers ascend to Socialist Peak (4,562 meters) for an unforgettable sunrise, followed by a descent to Miriakamba Hut. Welcome to your adventure with Williamson Adventures! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our friendly representative will be there to greet you. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha/Moshi.
Once settled in, you’ll meet with your guide for a comprehensive climb briefing. This session will cover the upcoming trek, ensuring you are well-prepared and informed. After the briefing, we’ll conduct an equipment check to make sure you have everything needed for a successful and safe climb. Any missing gear can be rented or purchased at our Store.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Arusha, relax, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel, where you can rest and acclimate to the local climate.

Start early from Arusha to the Momella Gate, the starting point for the Mount Meru climb. Register with the park authorities, meet your guide and porters, and begin the trek. Hike through the forest, where you might encounter wildlife such as colobus monkeys. Arrive at Miriakamba Hut in the afternoon. Rest and enjoy dinner at the hut. An acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820m) is an option but not mandatory.

After breakfast, continue the ascent through the forest and into the heather zone. Reach Saddle Hut in the afternoon. Spend the afternoon resting and acclimatizing. Have an early dinner to prepare for the summit push.

This day is the pinnacle of your Mount Meru experience. You embark on an early morning ascent to reach the summit, Socialist Peak, standing at an impressive 4,562 meters. The trek in the pre-dawn darkness is rewarded with the breathtaking spectacle of the sunrise over the African plains. After savoring the achievement, you descend back to Saddle Hut for a well-deserved rest before making your way down to Miriakamba Hut for the night.
The final leg of your trek involves a descent through the dense forest, retracing your steps toward Momella Gate.
