On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by a Williamson Adventures representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Four Points by Sheraton Arusha where the rhythm of nature pounds to the beat of an African drum, and where life is all about a revival of the senses.

After breakfast depart from Arusha and embark on an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon. Taking as its muse the glorious bird life of the fabulously soda-encrusted and pink flamingo-fringed Lake Manyara, the swooping curves of this elegantly evocative lodge defy description. As do the soaring views over the Great Rift Valley, the rose-gold sunsets over the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment and the utterly unique tree climbing Lake Manyara lions.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow, Salt Lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.

The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look!

Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences, and this day will be organized according to your wishes. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for a Hot lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
