Itinerary

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by a Williamson Adventures representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Four Points by Sheraton Arusha where the rhythm of nature pounds to the beat of an African drum, and where life is all about a revival of the senses.

After Breakfast, our safari begins with driving to Tarangire National Park, which is the home of elephants and ancient baobab trees, and witness the park's diverse wildlife, including herds of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. As you venture deeper into the park, keep your camera ready for the chance to capture unique moments of animal interactions in their natural habitat. After an exhilarating day of game drives, you'll return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Perched on the jagged rim of the crater, wreathed in the morning mist, camouflaged in river stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers, this lodge is a triumph of ecological and architectural fusion.
Sensitively constructed so as to take nothing from its environment whilst affording endless vistas over the heat-shimmering reaches of the crater below.

After breakfast, you will check out and descend to the crater floor for a once-in-a-lifetime game drive. You will see the “Big Five” and other animals like zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. The crater is also home to various birds, including the majestic pink flamingo on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Lunch will be served on the picnic site by the swamp, where you can watch hippos swimming around in the pool. After lunch, you ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is where your safari will end
