Itinerary

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by a Williamson Adventures representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Arusha Planet Lodge where the rhythm of nature pounds to the beat of an African drum, and where life is all about a revival of the senses.

After breakfast depart from Arusha and embark on an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, set up your campsite and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon. Tarangire is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and various bird species. As day come to an end drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will leave Karatu and head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for a game drive, allowing you to witness the vast grasslands and abundant wildlife. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and other animals move across the plains. Set up camp within the park and fall asleep to the sounds of the wilderness.

Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for Hot lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

The camp is open from July to November, when millions of wildebeest migrate across the Northern Serengeti, with the goal of crossing the Mara River. The best time to visit this camp is in July and stay until the middle of November.
