Itinerary

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by a Williamson Adventures representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Arusha Planet Lodge where the rhythm of nature pounds to the beat of an African drum, and where life is all about a revival of the senses.

After Breakfast, Our safari begins with driving to Tarangire National Park which is the home of elephants and ancient baobab trees and witness the park's diverse wildlife, including herds of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. After an exhilarating day of game drives, you'll return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, leave Tarangire and head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for a game drive, allowing you to witness the vast grasslands and abundant wildlife. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and other animals move across the plains. Set up camp within the park and fall asleep to the sounds of the wilderness.

This is a high-end, small bush camp in the heart of the Serengeti National Park that aims to provide visitors with a real wild experience. It’s a few kilometers north of Seronera’s wildlife reserve, which offers the good permanent game. There are 12 tents in all. It is the most luxurious and undoubtedly the smartest resort in Serengeti. The camp is situated on a hill, surrounded by huge evergreen trees, with sweeping views of the Northern Serengeti. The camp is open from July to November, when millions of wildebeest migrate across the Northern Serengeti, with the goal of crossing the Mara River. The best time to visit this camp is in July and stay until the middle of November.

Rhino Lodge

The Ngorongoro Crater, also known as Africa’s Eden, is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife year-round. Here you will enjoy encounters with a large number of species, including the Big Five. Ngorongoro is well-known for offering an opportunity to see black rhino, experience vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and eland, as well as exciting lion and hyena sightings.

After an early breakfast, you will check out and begin your descent to the crater floor for a once-in-a-lifetime game drive. You will see the “Big Five”, as well as other animals like zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. The crater is also home to a wide variety of birds, including the majestic pink flamingo on the soda lake, geese, stork, vulture, and more. Lunch will be served on the picnic site by the swamp where you can watch hippos swimming around in the pool. After lunch, you will ascend back to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is where your safari will end
